CATHY PUGH has been selected by CHIP Hospitality as the new Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn Hotel & Resort Fredericton and the Delta Fredericton hotel.

Ms. Pugh holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and has 20 years of hotel experience. She was Sales Manager at the Delta Fredericton (formerly the Sheraton Fredericton Hotel) from 1992 to 1996 and then joined Destination Halifax as Sales Manager - Corporate and Incentive Travel.  She was promoted to Programs Manager in 2005 and instrumental in the success of the organization to dramatically increase tourism expenditures year 'round.  "We are very pleased to have Cathy lead our sales team at these key Atlantic resort properties," says Nathalie Jeghers, CHIP Hospitality's Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Quebec and Atlantic Canada.  "She is highly motivated and personable and her energy, passion and past experience will contribute greatly to the hotels' continued success."   "We look forward to Cathy's enthusiasm and to the impact her drive for success will have on these fine hotels," adds Rachel Koller, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at CHIP Hospitality.
