The HYATT REGENCY SCOTTSDALE RESORT and SPA at Gainey Ranch has been chosen to receive the Gold Key “Elite” Award from the readers of Meetings & Conventions magazine. The award based on overall professionalism and quality, defines the very “best of the best” among meeting properties worldwide. This year, over 200 hotels and resorts were honored as Gold Key winners; with only five achieving the Gold Key ‘Elite’ level. The selected winners were evaluated for the overall staff attitude, quality of meeting rooms, quality of guest services, food and beverage service, proficiency of handling reservations, availability of technical/support equipment and the range of recreational facilities.
Located near all the action Scottsdale has to offer, the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch is one of the most impressive resorts in the Valley of the Sun. Masterful design and artistic touches showcase the hotel's signature atrium art project with themes that include equestrian and maps of Hispania, as well as bronze sculptures of Native Americans scattered throughout the grounds. Architecturally, stone, brick and coppery tones echo the natural Arizona landscape. When it opened in the early 1980s, the hotel set new standards for Arizona resorts. Almost over-the-top with its amenities and design flourishes, it boasts ten pools, interlinked waterways with gondolas, a waterfall, an artificial beach and a waterslide. Complimentary bicycles are provided for riding along the four-mile bike trail, and golfers rave about the 27-hole course. Additional amenities include eight tennis courts, a Native American learning center, the VIP Regency club, fitness center and a full service spa.
For conferences the resort features 35,000-square-feet of indoor meeting space including 29 meeting rooms. |
