Phil Caronia, General Manager of Rosen Centre in Orlando, announced the promotion of CHRISTINA THOMAS as Resident Manager of the award winning property.

As Resident Manager, Christina Thomas will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the guest experience to ensure both quality and guest satisfaction. She will manage the valet, concierge, housekeeping, bell stand, front desk, spa and recreation areas, as well as all food and beverage outlets.

Christina has worked with the Rosen Centre since February of 2001, fulfilling such roles as senior convention services and catering manager, associate director of convention services and catering, and sales manager. Her responsibilities under these titles consisted of overseeing and handling convention services and catering for large citywide conventions, corporate and pharmaceutical groups including American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Pepsi Bottling Group, and Merck Inc. to name a few.

Prior to joining the Rosen team, Christina served as director of sales and marketing for Planet Hollywood International, overseeing catering and sales efforts for 45 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada.

Christina is an honors graduate of Florida International University, with a bachelor of science degree in hospitality management. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, with a working knowledge of French.
