TURTLE BAY RESORT was untouched by Sunday's earthquake centered near the big Island of Hawaii. The resort is fully operational following the statewide power outage triggered by the quake.

“Our hotel staff did a tremendous job of caring for our guests post-earthquake and during the twelve hour power outage,” said Bob Boyle, Benchmark's managing director at Turtle Bay Resort. “There was only a small interruption in service while emergency measures were put into place. Everything is now back online and all of the resort’s amenities are available.”

Power was restored to the resort around 7:00 pm Sunday evening. There were no injuries or damage to the resort.

Located on the North Shore of Oahu, the 880-acre Turtle Bay Resort is operated by Benchmark Hospitality International and is a Preferred Hotels® & Resorts Worldwide property – a collection of the world’s finest independent luxury hotels.
