Warren E. (Mac) Mclaughlin, President/CEO of the Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the county’s official information source for visitors, meetings and conventions, announces the appointment of BILL VERVAEKE as Vice President of Marketing Services.

Bill Vervaeke, a veteran travel industry marketing executive brings with him an impressive track record showing a wide range of experience that includes marketing, advertising, branding for airlines, tour operators, car rental establishments, resorts, hotels and casinos.  In addition, Vervaeke has an extensive international and national tourism background, managing accounts in Florida, California, Europe, Asia and South America. Vervaeke has also managed travel branding and cooperative advertising for VISIT FLORIDA. He has extensive knowledge of Palm Beach County having handled the account while employed by Beber Silverstein, the advertising agency for the CVB.

As Vice President of Marketing Services for the Palm Beach County CVB, Vervaeke’s responsibilities include product branding as well as establishing and cultivating tourism alliances.  Additionally, Vervaeke has taken over the entire reservation system project, oversees the agency web site palmbeachfl.com and the production of 35-publications.  Bill Vervaeke currently resides in West Palm Beach with his wife Sharon who was born in Palm Beach County.
