Barceló Hotels & Resorts today announced the appointment of JENNIFER M. CARVALHO to Sales Manager for the West Coast.  Ms. Carvalho’s appointment coincides with the continued growth of Barceló’s all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean.  The company now offers 32 upscale resorts throughout Latin America.  Ms. Carvalho joins Barcelo’s present North American sales team which includes Fiona Taylor, Fernando Ortiz and Anthony Stone in the U.S., and Rick McCauley in Canada.

Ms. Carvalho was previously with the Maui Visitors Bureau where she represented the Bureau from Los Angeles.  She is a travel industry sales specialist having also worked for the Anaheim Visitor Center, The Activities and Attractions Association of Hawaii, as well as Carousel Inn & Suites in Anaheim, and the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, CA.  Ms. Carvalho can be reached at her Los Angeles office at:
