Dusit Hotels & Resorts has appointed James Robert Wilson as Vice President–Operations for Royal Princess Hotels & Resorts.  Formerly General Manager of Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok for six years, his stint was remarkable for the hotel’s international award-winning food and beverage outlets, high recognition for the chefs, extensive renovations, highlighted by Pathumwan Princess as the first hotel managed by Dusit Hotels & Resorts to achieve ISO 9001 (2000) certification.

Born in Northern Ireland, James Wilson has been a widely respected hotelier for close to a decade.  Prior to moving to Thailand in 2000, he was General Manager at City Inn, Glasgow (Scotland) and both Swallow Hotels in East Kilbride (Scotland) and Durham (England).

As Vice President-Operations, James Wilson’s key responsibilities will focus upon well streamlined operations, services and policies of the Royal Princess group of hotels..
