Minor International, one of Asia’s leading hotel developers and operators, announces the appointment of JOHN GRIFFIN as Vice President of Marketing. Griffin, an Australian national, will oversee global marketing execution, including marketing strategy, branding, message articulation and communications for Minor International’s growing resort brand, Anantara and future brand launches that complement Minor’s growth into global hotel management.
Throughout his career, John Griffin has held a myriad of executive positions in the luxury hotel, financial services and professional agency sectors. With 5 years’ marketing experience at American Express (Sydney), he was responsible for the launch of new financial products as well as advertising and deployment of their worldwide offerings to the Australia/New Zealand markets. Griffin joins Minor International from Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts (London) where he held the role of Vice President Worldwide Marketing, overseeing global corporate marketing, including marketing communications, customer insight, partnership and loyalty programmes.
In his new role, Griffin will be based in the Bangkok corporate offices of Minor International. “We are delighted that John has joined Minor International," said Michael Sagild, COO of Minor International.
