Panorama Hospitality, the Tokyo-based hospitality business of Morgan Stanley, has been appointed asset manager of the 802-room SHERATON GRANDE TOKYO BAY HOTEL with immediate effect. This appointment follows completion of the acquisition of the hotel by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc® and a fund managed by Morgan Stanley Real Estate.
One of five Tokyo Disney Resort® official hotels, the 802-room Sheraton Grande
Tokyo Bay Hotel is the largest hotel, by room number, to join the growing number
of properties supervised by Panorama Hospitality.
The hotel has been managed by Starwood®, since its opening in1988 and will
continue to operated under a long-term agreement of the joint venture. A
large scale refurbishment is planned for the hotel and will commence shortly.
