The SWISS MÖVENPICK HOTEL in the beautiful city of Prague has never compromises on quality since it opened 11 years ago. In accordance with the Mövenpick corporate philosophy the hotel continues to provide its guests with exceptional services in a pleasant and comfortable environment. The hotel combines two modern hillside properties, connected by cable car, offering superb views and prime city centre location.  The Executive Wing with 136 rooms is situated on the hilltop surrounded by woodland.  At the foot of the Smichov Hill is the Moevenpick Hotel with 300 standard and superior rooms.

This year guests can enjoy several changes that further improved the quality of services it offers. Refurbishments relate primarily to the fitness centre, conference rooms, and accommodations.  In addition to the Il Giardino Restaurant’s new BBQ terrace. 

The greatest changes have been made in the fitness centre, which has been transformed in a modern, comfortable and airy style. The sauna and its new relaxation room promise a very pleasant way to wind down. The wide variety of massages is provided by experienced masseurs from Holmes Place.

The new boardrooms provide state-of-art equipment for conference participants.

The new Cairo 3 conference room is ideal for executive meetings or conferences for up to 11 people, and offers technical state of the art equipment.  It is equipped with special desk with integrated connectors and a data projector or a DVD-compatible sound system. To ensure absolute comfort for all participants there is also an espresso machine in the room. The room features a practical screen, behind which two people can work independently. The room has a wireless (Wi-Fi) internet connection.

The new Bellevue conference room in the executive hotel building will be opened at the end of summer. It will offer a great view of Prague thanks to the glass walls and adjacent summer terrace. With a maximum capacity for 40 people /theatre style/ it is an ideal venue for meetings or cocktails.  

The wireless internet connection has also been implemented in all the other conference rooms. The offer now includes 5 PC projectors, an easily manoeuvrable screen, a sound system for large rooms and a DVD and CD player.

A high-speed internet connection is no longer exclusive to executive hotel rooms. Guests can now stay online in all the rooms in the main hotel building wirelessly. Wi-Fi internet now covers the whole main hotel building.

Cable car refurbishment
The cable car, connecting the two hotel buildings, has gone through general maintenance incl. installation of the new engine. This unique “lift” carries daily more than 1000 people from the main hotel building to the executive hotel wing located on the top of the hill. 

Executive Bar and Lobby
Receiving area in the executive hotel building will get a new appearance at the end of July. The interior of the executive reception will be redesigned and a new bar will be opened. Located just next to the reception, with a view of a riding cable car, it will be a pleasant place to stop for a coffee or a drink.

Il Giardino restaurant and terrace
The last - but not less important - change is the large new open grill on the terrace of the Il Giardino restaurant. In fine weather the guests can not only enjoy a beautiful view of Prague, but also find delicious food charcoal barbecued in front of their eyes. Further improvements are planned in the flower decorations on the terrace and surrounding garden.
