“We’re very pleased that Scott has joined our team to oversee the resort’s sales and marketing efforts,” said Mark Schwantner, general manager of The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village. “It’s an exciting time at the resort since we’ll start our multi-million dollar renovation in July, and are expected to complete it by this October. There’s not a part of the resort that won’t be touched by this impressive project, and Scott will oversee the sales and marketing teams that will spread the news to meeting professionals, incentive specialists, groups, and leisure guests about our greatly-enhanced resort.”
The Renaissance Resort is situated in the heart of the beautifully landscaped 6,300-acre World Golf Village and will kick-off an impressive multi-million dollar renovation this July. Plans include the complete remodeling of all 301 guest rooms and suites, dramatic changes to the resort’s lobby atrium, enhancements to the main ballroom and meeting offerings, remodeling of the restaurant and bar, new lighting throughout the public spaces, and the remodeling of all guest room corridors. The renovation is slated for completion by October 2007.
Guests also have privileges at the private oceanfront Serenata Beach Club, and have access to the PGA TOUR Golf Academy, the PGA TOUR Spa Laterra, an 18-hole putting course, and Island Challenge Hole.
In addition to its convenient location next to the impressive World Golf Hall of Fame, the resort also is an easy stroll to the renowned Walk of Champions, an IMAX® Theater, and a boutique avenue with an assortment of specialty shops and restaurants.
