On 31 August 2007, IVAN ARTOLLI is to replace Debbie Taylor as General Manager of Rocco Forte’s The Balmoral in Edinburgh. Ivan joined the Company in 2000 as General Manager of Hotel Savoy in Florence and in 2002 moved to Brussels to manage another Rocco Forte property, Hotel Amigo Ivan brings over 30 years of luxury hotel experience to his new role, including roles as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Plaza Athenee in Paris and the Villa d’Este Grand Hotel in Cernobbio, Italy. He has Also worked in hotels in Germany, France, the UK and Monaco, such as The Ritz in Paris and Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo.

Debbie Taylor leaves Rocco Forte’s The Balmoral having amassed an outstanding 70 prestigious accolades for the hotel during her three year tenure. Whilst at the helm, Debbie has also overseen The Balmoral’s £7-million refurbishment, launched Scotland’s only Bollinger Bar and spearheaded the award-winning Five-star Kids programme.
