Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Linda Cerra as general manager of the historic Montauk Yacht Club, located in Montauk, Long Island, New York.  Ellen Sinclair, vice president, made the announcement.

“I am very pleased to announce Linda’s newest appointment with Benchmark Hospitality,” said Ms. Sinclair.  “She has been an integral part of our organization since 1998 and brings significant experience in senior executive level management to her new role.”

Linda Cerra previously held the position of director of human resources for Montauk Yacht Club.  Over the years, Ms. Cerra has served in numerous special task force assignments for Benchmark Hospitality, including working with Hotel Contessa, located in San Antonio, Texas; Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center of Glen Cove, New York; Danfords on the Sound, Port Jefferson, New York; Edith Macy Conference Center, Briarcliff Manor, New York; and Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. 

She joined Benchmark Hospitality working with Heritage Country Club of Johnson City, New York, where she served as director of recreation & fitness until she was promoted to club manager.

Ms. Cerra is a graduate of Broome Community College in Binghamton, New York.  She resides in Montauk.
