Senior Sales Manager, KELLY TEO, has been promoted to Director of Group Sales at  the InterContinental Mark Hopkins and will take charge of the insurance, real estate, hi-tech, engineering, communications,  utilities, transportation, aerospace, incentives, international  markets, and citywide conventions.

Kelly began his hospitality  career with the Hilton San Francisco and Towers in Small Group Sales and continued on to the Parc 55 as Director of Business  Travel Sales. Prior to joining the InterContinental Mark Hopkins,  he worked at Hotel Rex as Director of Sales. Born and raised in Singapore, he moved to the Bay Area for Business Studies at the University of California, Berkley and was a professional dancer for 7 years with companies including the Oakland Ballet, Diablo Ballet, and the national touring company of the “King and I” with Marie Osmond and Hayley Mills. 

Emily Eng comes on board the InterContinental Mark Hopkins as Senior Sales Manager, and is responsible for developing and overseeing business in the pharmaceutical, medical, biotech,  agriculture, food service, and retail markets.

Emily has worked  with Hilton Hotels Corporation in Los Angeles and a number of  Bay Area hotels including the Miyako Hotel, where she was most  recently the Associate Director of Sales. She is a graduate of the  University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a major in  Business Administration.
