Panorama Hospitality, K.K. recently announced the appointment of XAVIER DESTRIBATS as Vice President – A central figure in Tokyo’s hospitality field since 2001, Mr. Destribats joins the hotel asset management and operating company after a long career with Global Hyatt Corporation, where he most recently served the dual post of General Manager of Grand Hyatt Tokyo and Area Director of Operations.

A native of Bordeaux, France, Mr. Destribats is a graduate of the Université Bordeaux and Switzerland’s Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne. He began his career in 1982 as a Food & Beverage management trainee at the Hyatt Regency Cancun, holding subsequent senior management and corporate positions for Hyatt in Jerusalem, Paris and Acapulco before arriving in Tokyo in 2001 to prepare for the opening, as General Manager, of Grand Hyatt Tokyo two years later.

As Vice President – Japan, Mr. Destribats will oversee all 28 hotels in Japan for Panorama Hospitality, which currently handles operational and asset management for these properties.
