The Westin Roco Ki Beach & Golf Resort is pleased to announce that this new luxury property will join an exclusive and elite line of properties by featuring the first Heavenly Spa by Westin™ in the Caribbean.   The Westin Roco Ki will also be the first U.S. branded resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The Westin Roco Ki Beach & Golf Resort is part of a new luxury residential and resort community now underway in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Phase I of the 2,700-acre destination will debut in fall 2008. It will include the 337 room beachfront resort residences.  With an eye on hosting the group market, the property feature over 20,000 sq feet of space that includes 14 meeting rooms and the ballroom can accommodate 700.   One of the crown jewels of Roco Ki will be a Nick Faldo designed championship golf course, an 18-hole, par-72 course managed by Troon Golf. The 11,500 square foot Heavenly Spa will offer a sanctuary of 15 spacious and sumptuously designed treatment rooms and an infinity pool with inspiring views of the ocean and Macao Beach which has been praised as one of the most exceptional in the world by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), for its pristine white sand and crystal clear waters. The Heavenly Spa by Westin concept not only embraces the beauty of the region but also creates an uplifting experience through the five key tenets of sight, sound, touch, taste and scent. The selection of Heavenly massages, facials and body treatments to pamper guests will feature ingredients derived from local herbs, fruits and plants native to the Dominican Republic to refresh and rejuvenate the body and soul.

The Heavenly Spa at The Westin Roco Ki will also offer men’s and women’s locker rooms, each outfitted with private sauna, steam room, whirlpool, Vichy showers and hydrotherapy tubs.
