Fiji Islands Visitors Bureau is proud to share with travelers that it has taken top awards in TRIPADVISORS "TRAVELERS' CHOICE AWARDS 2008.”  Eight Fiji resorts were honored in four different categories.

At the top of the awards list is the “Top 100 Best Luxury” category which one of Fiji’s resorts, the Maravu Plantation Resort on Taveuni Island, placed in the top 20 of 100 resorts in the world.  Maravu Plantation Resort also ranked number one in the “Top 10 Best Luxury – South Pacific” category.

Also placing in the “Top 10 Best Luxury – South Pacific” category are Nukubati Island Resort (Labasa), Royal Davui Fiji (Viti Levu), Qamea Resort and Spa (Qamea Island) and Toberua Island Resort (Toberua Island).

Three more Fiji Islands resorts were honored with the “Top 10 Best Hidden Gems – South Pacific” category: Castaway Island Fiji (Mamanuca Islands), Lalati Resort (Beqa Island) and Nanuya Island Resort (Yasawa Island).

To round out the first half of the year on a high note, Lalati Resort (Beqa Island) placed in the top 10 of the “Top 10 All-Inclusives” category.

The “Travelers’ Choice Awards 2008” recipients were determined by a combination of the highest traveler ratings and the TripAdvisor Popularity Index, a measurement of overall traveler satisfaction.
