The Scottsdale Plaza Resort is proud to announce MICHAEL FRIEND and RANDALL SCHAFFER have been named Account Executive. Mr. Friend will be handling the Technology and Communications Markets while Mr. Schaffer will be managing the Real Estate, Transportation, Transportation Equipment, Tobacco, and Metals & Mining industries markets.

Michael Friend first joined The Scottsdale Plaza Resort in 2001 as a Front Office Manager while later becoming the Rooms Director. His extensive hospitality background and the training he has acquired over the years are definite assets in his new Account Executive position.

Randall Schaffer joined The Scottsdale Plaza Resort team in January 2008 as a Marketing Representative. Randall’s hard work and diligence earned him the Account Executive position. Randall graduated from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Global Security and Intelligence Studies with a minor in Arabic Language and Culture.
