Ceviche and Mojitos Making 101

Enjoy a fun filled afternoon of ceviche and cocktails.  Your group will be greeted with a refreshing mojito upon arrival. Executive Chef Jose Luis Flores will guide students through the traditional techniques of ceviche making. Guests will learn the proper way to cut and marinate the fresh fish. They will also learn the secrets of the outrageous and creative flavors of OLA’s ceviches

Just as the last sip of the cocktail is taken, Chef Flores will teach you how to muddle up your own mojito.

The student’s ceviches will be plated by Ola’s staff and served along with a three course sit-down lunch.

Pricing: $70 per person plus tax & gratuity includes light 3- course lunch

Ola’s Bartenders Competition and Team Building

Learn to shake, muddle and pour Mojitos, Caiparinhas and Muddled Cocktails. Ola introduces the newest addition to our Culinary Team Building: MUDDLE THIS

As guests enter the rooftop terrace of Ola at Sanctuary Hotel, they will immediate be greeted with butler passed refreshing Miami cocktails such as Mojitos, Green Tea Mojitos and Caiparinhas. Ola staff will passed Nuevo Latino delicacies to kick start the palette.   The guests will be split into groups. 

Each group will have a Bar Station that will be equipped with the following:Rum, Cashasha, Vodka, Flavored Vodkas, Fresh Exotic and Tropical Fruits, Fruit Juices, Garnishes, Muddlers, glasses, shakers and everything and anything required to mix and create the perfect cocktail

Chef Jose Luis Flores assisted by the Ola Bartending Team will instruct guests and give tips on how to make a classic Mojito, Caiparinha (Brazilian Cocktail) and Fresh Fruit Muddled Drink (A signature of our creator Chef Douglas Rodriguez)

The Bell Rings! Guests will then have 10 minutes to create one of each cocktail using the ingredients provided.   The groups will be scored on taste and presentation

Chef Jose and the Bartending team will pick 1 winning team for each cocktail and Prizes will be given to the winning teams.

Winning Caiparinha: a bottle of Cashasha Rum and recipe booklet ($18 each)

Competition: $45 per person includes open bar for entire competition, passed appetizers, set up and competition
