LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels Area Director of Sales Steve Silverman announces the appointment of CHIP MINICK as Area Sales Manager, responsible for furthering corporate and group sales among the four properties comprising the LXR South Florida Collection: the Miami Beach Resort & Spa in Miami Beach; Key Largo Grande Resort & Beach Club, A Hilton Resort in Key Largo; and Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club and Reach Resort, both in Key West.

In this position, Minick will assist with sales efforts in the North Florida region, focusing on association-related business. He will be based at the Casa Marina Resort.  

Prior to joining LXR, he held the position of National Sales Director at Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, Fla., where he worked for two years. From 2004 to 2006, he was Director of Group Sales at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach/Radisson in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Minick has also held positions such as National Accounts Manager at the Registry Resort in Naples, Fla., as well as the Associate Director of Sales at the Wyndham Resort Key West in Key West, Fla.
