Rosen Centre is pleased to announce its new Director of Convention Services & Catering, a 30-year hospitality veteran, CHRISTINE GONZALEZ.

In her new role, Gonzalez oversees the convention service/catering department, banquet and banquet set-up departments and the package room for Rosen Centre, a 1334-room award-winning convention facility ideally situated next to the Orange County Convention Center.

Prior to joining the Rosen Centre team, Gonzalez served as the Director of Events at the Hilton New York, where she was responsible for directing the entire event management team. She previously spent eight years at the Waldorf=Astoria where she worked her way up from Meetings & Conventions Manager to Senior Conventions Manager and finally to Associate Director of Meetings & Conventions, a position she held for four years. Her hotels and hospitality experience spans nearly three decades with various management positions in New York and Spain for Marriott, Doral and others.

Rosen Centre caters to green meetings and was most recently awarded the Two Palm Green Lodge designation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Green Lodging program for its green practices that reduce waste and conserve natural resources.  Along with sister properties Rosen Plaza and Rosen Shingle Creek, Rosen Centre is one of only three hotels in Central Florida and only 11 in the state to receive this recognition.
