Elegant Hotels Group has named MARCO PAVONE as general manager of The House and Daphne’s. In his new position, Mr. Pavone will draw upon nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality and service industries to direct all resort and restaurant operations and staff to bring the guest experience to new levels of excellence.

“I look forward to leading a cooperative team amongst all levels of staff at The House and Daphne’s as we continue to provide a warm, hospitable atmosphere and unparalleled service to our guests,” says Mr. Pavone.

Mr. Pavone has worked with Daphne’s restaurant since 2001 and during his tenure it became a Zagat-rated restaurant on this well-known culinary island recognized as the first and only island of the Caribbean to have Zagat-rated restaurants. He has previously served as restaurant manager for The Collection Restaurant and Congress Private Dining Club, both in London.

Mr. Pavone earned a degree in hotel management in Pascara, Italy and attended catering school at Istituto Professionale Alberghiero Statale.
